Willow Lakes Plantation Community Meeting
The second quarter Willow Lakes Plantation Community Meeting will be held on January 14, 2012 at 10:00 A M , Risen Savior Lutheran Church.
Location: 1755 Quacco Road, Pooler, Ga (turn right onto Quacco Road, continue straight approximately one and a half miles, the Church is located on the left (additional directions call 912 .210-1758)
Please note that the initial meeting schedule for the month of December had to be rescheduled due to Holiday festivities scheduled for the month of December at the church. The Board apologizes for any inconvenience.
New Construction Notice to all Willow Lakes Plantation Homeowners
Before starting any new construction in the Willow Lakes Plantation Community, it is important to first file a building construction application with the HOA Board for approval. The application can be accessed on the web site.
Pool Closed
Due to fall/winter maintenance, all non essential HOA activities are prohibited in pool area.
New Office
The newly renovated Willow Lakes Plantation HOA Office located in the pool area will officially open for business within the first two weeks of the new year. We are in the process of interviewing for the administrative assistant position. The office will be open the following scheduled hours:
Monday (5:00 PM-8:00 PM)
Wednesday (5:00 PM-8:00)
Friday (5:00-8:00)
Saturday (10:00 AM-12:00 PM).
Willow Lakes Plantation Homeowners will be able to transact all Willow Lakes Plantation Business at this location. This includes paying HOA annual fees, approvals for fence construction permits, approvals for posting signs, etc.
New Bus Stop
The School Bus Stop has been moved across the street from its former location - at the corner of Willow Lakes Dr. and Willow Lakes Rd. - where we have now benches for the children to sit on while waiting. We will have a bus shelter added there in the near future.
We are asking all parents to direct their children to stand by the benches and NOT on the property across the street.
Willow Lakes Home Owners Association Amnesty Program
Due to the considerable number of applicants to the Amnesty Program, Willow Lakes HOA has decided to extend the application deadline till November 15th, 2011. All residents who have outstanding fees are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the Amnesty Program by documenting that they have experienced hardships, preventing them from being able to pay their dues.
Signs and Postings
All community signs and website postings according to the articles of the covenant shall meet the approval of the board to ensure that all signs and postings comport/conform with the guidelines of the Willow Lakes Plantation's Covenant. Please contact the board for approval.
HOA Fees
The HOA Fees are due by Jan 1st. Late fee will apply after Jan 31st. The board has agreed to maintain the current fee assessed this year $435.00.

General Announcements
Basketball goals are permitted in the draviways as long as they are clean, well maintained and in good condition.
The board will mail a quarterly financial statement and board meeting minutes to all residents.
The community development plan will continue throughout the winter - we will be trimming the grass around the lake and the berm.
We have secured a property to build a tennis court/basketball court.
Willow Lakes Plantation Homeowners Association Board of Directors is currently the managing agent for Willow lakes Plantation business. Several consultants have been contracted to assist the board with the aforementioned organizational transition. Homeowners may send all business communications, covenant transactions, HOA fees, etc. to the Willow Lakes Plantation address posted on the Willow Lakes Plantation web site.
